Divorce Division, Maintain Unity

Daniel teaches that it is not us that creeates unity but the Lord. Man creates division but he encourages us that we do not have to create unity but only maintain the unity that the Lord has already created for us. 

Peace to Get You Through, Joy on the Other Side

Daniel encoraged us that one of the greatest works of the Holy Spirit through his many features. He covered John 16:16-33, pointing out that Jesus ends His time with Jesus by tieing up loose ends, and explain what they (and by extension us) could expect from the Life they were about to face.

You are Not Alone

Daniel speaks on John 16 continued and encourages us that we are never alone. Jesus left so that we could be gifted with His holy spirit and have Him with us always. 

Community

Daniel encourages us to follow our counselor, the holy spirit and to focus on community as we begin life groups this fall. 

John 15 Continued

Anthony finishes up John chapter 15 with reminding us of some of the last words Jesus spoke to His disciples. He reminds us that the world hated Jesus and becasue we are of Him and sharing His love they will hate us as well; expect adversity and keep loving all, including our persecuters. 

Abide...and More

Through John chapter 15, Daniel teaches that we must first glorify God by producing fruit, in order to produce fruit we must abide in Him. In order to abide in the Lord we must follow His commandments, and in order to follow His commandments we must love one another and lay down our lives for someone else.

Anthony teaches from John 13 and encourages us to live our lives motivated by Christ's love for us and our love for Him. Anthony reminds us to live like Jesus we must live a servant's life and to serve Jesus we must serve one another. 

Your Response to Jesus

Daniel Starts back in our sermon series through the book of John.

Looking at the 30,000 foot view of John 12, Daniel asks which one of the stories of that chapter looks most like our lives. 

He encouraged us dive in with our relationship with Jesus, instead of "hesitating" and making more problems for ourselves.

Worth

Daniel points us to our God given reality - You have WORTH, You are value. He Points out that we are valueable because we are created by God in his image. God shows that he values us in several ways not the least of which that he sent his son to die on our behalf.

To Worship Like God gave us value - Worship Like It

and to treat others around us like they have value -  Love Like It.
