Mind of Christ ( The Fruit of the Spirit - Patience )
Sunday Aug 17, 2025
Sunday Aug 17, 2025
The word patience literally means to be "LONG in suffering." It is interesting that we think it is more acceptable to be impatient, rather than to be unfaithful or unloving. Why is that? There are so many thoughts about patience, such as God's patience with us, our patience with others, and how to be patient in trials. The Word says that God can use our trials to purify our faith and help to produce patience. Patience is not simply waiting, it's HOW we wait and what comes out of us in the waiting. Let's go to the Word and explore the spiritual fruit of patience.

Sunday Aug 10, 2025
Sunday Aug 10, 2025
We are taking a look at peace. We can evaluate how much we trust God in how much peace is present in our lives. There is a noticeable difference between peace with God and peace of God . In the word Jesus is called the Prince of Peace which would make God the King of Peace . Its an interesting thought to think that Jesus came to restore our relationship with the King of Peace and restore who we are so we can walk him in peace. Lets listen and dive into the word and really discover peace.

The Mind of Christ (Fruit of the Spirit - Love and Joy)
Sunday Aug 03, 2025
Sunday Aug 03, 2025
This week, we are discussing Love and Joy as fruit of the spirit. When we are walking with the Lord, we should ask ourselves, "Are we showing love as Jesus would want us to? Is there evidence of joy in our daily lives?" It can be difficult in the face of trials and tribulation to be joyful. It can be very challenging to love one another, especially in the midst of difficult relationships. The Lord says that "people will know that you are my disciples by your love one for another," not by how many times we are right, what they can do for us, or how productive they were. Paul even wrote about rejoicing in the middle of a jail cell. So, how can we exhibit these particular attributes of fruitfulness in our daily lives, and what should that look like?

Don't Climb the Wrong Mountain
Sunday Jul 20, 2025
Sunday Jul 20, 2025
In life, we pursue so many different things. Not everything we pursue is bad, but it may lead us to climb the wrong mountain. How could we climb the wrong mountain, you may ask? If what we are in pursuit of is not partnered with the Lord, it can lead to distraction, and possibly destruction. When we are operating with the mind of Christ, we will start to desire pursuing the things on HIS heart. It's important to choose the mountain you are meant to climb. Let's look at the Word and see what the Lord has to say about what God-Given pursuit should look like.

The Mind of Christ (Fruit and Works)
Sunday Jul 06, 2025
Sunday Jul 06, 2025
There is nothing in our own power, whether in what we say or do that earns our salvation. So, what purpose does the fruit of the spirit serve if not to earn or help us keep our salvation? In fact, there is a difference between the purpose of the fruit and what they produce and the justification that was purchased for us by Christ on the cross. So let's take a look at the Word and dive into the details of fruit versus works.

The Mind of Christ (Fruit of the Spirit #1)
Wednesday Jul 02, 2025
Wednesday Jul 02, 2025
When we hear the phrase, "fruit of the spirit," it seems like it would be singular? In reality, from a spiritual perspective, it is actually plural. There are nine fruit of the spirit, so it could be very discouraging to realize you are only good at one or two of them, while lacking in all the rest. Sometimes we view freedom as the right to do what we want, when we want. However, the Word describes freedom very differently. As a Christian, when you are learning to have the mind of Christ, it can be difficult to really understand freedom and what that means to you. Are you free, or aren't you? Let's look at how freedom and the fruit of the spirit connect.

The heart of the Father
Sunday Jun 15, 2025
Sunday Jun 15, 2025
The word 'Father' is more of a title than it is a word . The Aramaic word for father is Abba , which refers to an intimate relation. As we dive into the story of the prodigal son we found that his dad's reaction to his return is not as expected. We often expect one reaction from God and get another. Could it be that it is easier to understand and look at God as a king and not so much as a father. Let us look into the father's heart and see what his true nature and character as a Father.

Sunday Jun 08, 2025
Sunday Jun 08, 2025
When we think of the word "fruitful" many things come to mind. We often think of things like productive, fertile, and maybe even see it as the result of a process. All of those things are good, but the truest definition is "anything done with the partnership of God the Holy Spirit." So, on what wall does your ladder lean? Are we working by ourselves or are we partnering with the Lord and walking in HIS fruitfulness? Let's dive into the Word and explore what fruitfulness truly looks like.

The Mind of Christ ( A Father's Plea )
Sunday Jun 01, 2025
Sunday Jun 01, 2025
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Wisdom, however, is an invitation and not a command. As parents, we often command our children instead of inviting them to choose. Like God does with us, let's invite our children and the ones in our lives to search for the wisdom that comes from the Lord. If we listen, call out, and then search, we will find the wisdom of the Father, walk in the mind of Christ and think and behave more like the Lord. Let's Go to the Word and investigate all that comes with the pursuit of wisdom from the Lord.
